With years of hands-on experience working in some of the world’s leading high-containment laboratories, our founder was deeply inspired to close the knowledge, skills, and infrastructure gaps that exist in biosafety and biosecurity across Africa. After earning a degree from Cornell University and contributing to international biosafety programs, she made the decision to return to Nigeria to launch this impactful social enterprise.

Biosafety Management Company was founded on the belief that every scientist and health worker deserves a safe environment to work in, and that community-level biosecurity is essential for global health. Our work is centered on equipping institutions with the training, systems, and support they need to operate safely and efficiently.
